Troia
Posted by Mike Blitz on August 11th, 2007
We find Troia easily, land the Enterprise, and wander around the town. There town is rather dull, and the weapons and armory offer nothing in the way of improvements. After a bit, we leave town and enter the castle.
I had figured that getting this last crystal wouldn’t be easy, and it isn’t. It turns out that someone called the Dark Elf has stolen the crystal from the castle. Of course, the Dark Elf lives far far away, in a remote cave at the ends of the planet. Also, in order to beat him, it looks like we need to find some metal weapons in another cave (or perhaps the same one the Elf lives in?) off to the northeast.
Not wasting any time, we set out. After all this talking, I’m ready for some more fighting.
EDIT (August 14): I was brain dead when I played this segment, and forgot to mention a few things about Troia: the chocobo research room, the club that you buy a membership for, and Prince Edward sick in bed. All of these things happened, I just spaced out and didn’t write them down.
There was also the strange woman who was guarding the entrance to a treasure room, who asked if I had received permission from the leaders of the castle. I said I had, and she called me a liar. I said I hadn’t, and she still didn’t let me in. Humm. Stuck on that one, too, but I’m guessing it’ll clear itself up when I get back from messing with the Dark Elf.
Sorry for the omissions!

You might want to head back to Troia. Your translation seems to be a little scrambled here, it’s not that you find metal weapons, it’s that metal weapons (and armor) won’t work. Also, it’s possible to miss something very important in the castle…
I don’t want to give it away. Just go back and look for a door or two you missed.

Since you have an airship, you might want to explore around a little too…
