The Frying Pan of Love

Posted by Mike Blitz on February 24th, 2008

fryingpan.jpgWell, once we got to the moon, we magically remembered that Yang had a wife in Fabul. Funny how that just popped into our collective consciousness. Anyway, the temptation to save Yang was a bit too strong, so we hit the warp drive, zoomed back to Earth, and headed straight to Fabul.

Once there, we searched around until we found Yang’s wife, who seemed a bit upset that Yang didn’t come back home. She gave us a Frying Pan of Love, which we promptly tucked into our packs.

We headed down to the underworld, and once again we entered the Cave of Summons. We made quick work of our enemies and soon found ourselves in the subterranean lodge where Yang was sleeping.

I’m not quite sure what happened next, but I’m guessing we whacked him over the head with the Frying Pan of Love. Whatever the process, Yang popped awake. For a second there I was excited, as I thought he was going to join our party. Alas, it was not to be, as his injuries were too serious.

The flittering fairies who were attending to Yang, however, did teach Rydia the “Shirufu” summons. Not sure what that does yet, but at least we didn’t leave the lodge empty handed.

Anyway, with that diversion out of the way and Yang finally awake, we’ll head back to the moon tomorrow.

I think Yang’s wife should be given the good news.

Congrats on remembering that fact without using any guides or help! I’m proud of ya. You’re hardcore til the end.

“Shirufu”=Sylph. Congratulations on getting through that cave twice!

    Hero of Love,
Aha! Ok. We can do that…

    X-Boco,
Actually, I was kind of joking, as there was a comment in a previous post that mentioned where his wife was. I took that as a lead and headed to Fabul.

    Super Mateo,
    Thanks!

I LOVE the name of this entry!

    …don’t know why, though…
