Sigh.

Just before we exit the Sealed Cave, we hear Golbez’s voice, summong Kain to him. I knew it was too good to be true. Sure enough, Kain falls under Golbez’s influence again. He highttails it out of the cave, crystal in hand.
Once again, we have been foiled. Once again we have failed to protect a crystal. Once again, Golbez has outwitted us.
Subdued, we head back to our buddies the dwarfs. Once again our friend the dwarf king takes our failure all in stride. He then tells us of yet another chance for us to redeem ourselves. His speech got fairly complicated and a bit long, but from what I could understand, it appears that we have to go the moon. Yes, I know, this sounds crazy, but apparently that’s where Golbez is heading. Fortunately for us, the dwarf king knows of a huge vessel that can take us to the moon. I’m not sure how, but another place, called Mysidia, is involved with this too. Not sure if that is on the moon or not, but it sounds like it’s important.
And then there is the minor detail of getting back to the overworld. I thought there was a hole we could just fly through, but apparently we need to drill through it to reach the surface. Cid comes to our rescue again, as he fits a large drill to the front of the Falcon for us to bore our way up.
Before we head back to the overworld, however, I think I’d like to do a bit of exploring in the underworld. This appears to be a big place, and perhaps there are some caves or towns to explore.

Kain is such a backstabber, in this game, it’s incredible!

It’s a good idea to search the Underworld a bit, and as for Mysidia, well, maybe you should just go and look at some of your recent posts.

There is one side quest in the underworld that has to be completed before you move on to the next big part of the game, or you can never do it. It’s not anything particularly important, but I figured I should warn you. Everything else can be done later, but there’s no need to wait either. (I hope that’s all vague enough to not be a hint.)
I highly recommend you explore the underworld thoroughly. There’s a lot of cool stuff down there.

Sigh, Mike, that huge absence from playing FF4 really made you forget stuff, didn’t it?

Edjemaster,
No kidding. I didn’t expect that one, that’s for sure. I figured he was back for good. And the bastard took all his good equipment with him, too.
Drake, Seneth,
Yup. Explorations of the Underworld have begun.
Chocobo,
Yes, I have forgotten a lot, but something keeps tugging at my memory. I know I’m missing something, but I can’t remember what it was. It’ll come to me, though. I hope.
