Palom and Porom: Stoned

I turn back the clock and have our party redo the fights against Baigan and Cagnazzo. Things go much smoother the second time through. Cagnazzo falls quickly when we hit him with the “Baio” spell in shell form.
After the fight, Cid immediately finds us. Aha! He tells us that Golbez has stolen his flying ship, but fortunately Cid has built a second ship and hidden it within the castle. Clever Cid! We immediately set off for the ship.
On the way to the ship, tragedy strikes our party. Apparently, Cagnazzo is still powerful after death, because he sets off a wall trap on us. We are stuck in a narrow passageway with two walls grinding down on us. Just when all seems lost, Palom and Porom step up and cast a spell which petrifies both of them. The walls grind to a halt when they hit the two stone statues. We are saved, but at what cost!
Saddened, we drive on to the Enterprise, which Cid carefully hid within the castle. Within a few moments, we launch the ship, only to be approached by another flying ship almost immediately. On board is Kain. He offers us a trade: the last crystal for Rosa.
Cecil accepts, and we point the Enterprise toward Troia, home of the one remaining crystal. I just know this won’t be easy…
