My Kingdom for a Landing Strip

Posted by Mike Blitz on August 12th, 2007

airport.jpgWe headed northeast from Troia in the Enterprise. Below us sprawled endless forests. Shortly, we came to an forested island with a cave on it. This was easy, I thought. Only one problem: There’s no place to land. We can’t put the Enterprise down in the trees. Matter of fact, we can’t put the Enterprise down anywhere to the northeast of Troia.

Aha, I think! I remember that we abandoned our long lost hovercraft a while back, and I head out to search for it. We quickly locate it, touch down beside it, and board the water-capable vessel. Problem solved, I think. Or not. The hovercraft can only pass over shallow water, and there is no way it can make it across the deep water to get even close to the cave. Strike this idea.

Baffled, we reboard the Enterprise and head back to Troia to see if there is some sort of clue that we missed the first time through.

I hope you don’t count this as cheating:

There is a chocobo forest to the north of Troia. Get a black chocobo and use it to get to the cave.

And from your past post, I think there’s someone you didn’t see in that castle…

Only a matter of life or death for your party…

Maan, if only you had listened to the light. Hahah

    Big D,
Thanks for the tip, and I understand you intend well, but on those I think I’d like to try and figure them out on my own. On this one, I actually managed to figure it out before I read your tip, so no harm done at all.

    Edjemaster,
Ok, now I’m scared. :) I wonder if I saw them last night. Humm, very curious.

    X-Boco,
That damn light. I think I can apply that to real life as well: if ever a light starts talking to you, listen to it.

    Sorry.

    Big D,
Not a problem at all. I understand completely you were trying to help. All’s good. :)
