Moore

Well, getting to Moore Forest is a bit trickier than I thought it would be. You can’t fly there. I tried, but it’s surrounded by mountains. The only way to get in appears to be a small inlet under the mountains that you have to access via submarine. Nevertheless, after a few minutes we find ourselves in the village of Moore, which has lots of cool stuff for us to buy. Unfortunately, we only can buy about half of it before our funds run out. Sigh. I bought all the magical spells, but really want to get my hands on some of the armor and weapons as well.
Rather than head into Moore Forest with poor gear, I want to grind near Moore for a while to earn cash for gear. This actually works very well, as the woods around Moore hold these tree-like enemies that die easily and yield solid cash and experience. We spend some time grinding through these things, but it’s going to take a while to get enough cash to buy everything. This stuff’s expensive! We cross Level 34 and still are about 30,000 gil short of our goal. We’ll keep at this tomorrow.
Status: Grinding.

This is one of the most annoying things in old RPG - you can grind as much as you want, but by the time you arrive to next village, you’ll still be underleveled and short of cash. XP

But in the previous Final Fantasy games, at some point (usually about half way through) in the game I had boatloads of cash. Too much to spend, actually.
