Major Changes…

Yikes. Sorry, everyone. It actually wasn’t Pokemon that has thrown me off track this time. My life has changed unexpectedly in the past three weeks. I have gotten a one-year work assignment that will increase my workload significantly. I haven’t even touched any game over the past three weeks. I work right up until I go to bed. All I’ve done with the blog is approve posts when I could grab a minute.
I’ve decided that I want to try and continue this project, as I want to keep up my Japanese, but I know that I won’t be able to make daily posts on a consistent basis. I’m going to do the best that I can to keep going, but I’m guessing the best I’ll be able to do for the next year is to make a couple of posts per week. This is a lot less than I’d like, of course.
Even worse, the initial workload for this project has been overwhelming. I figure I’ll need about two weeks more to get my life back under control. So I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post at all in the next two weeks.
There is some good news, though. From the end of May until late August, the schedule looks relatively light, so I may be able to make near daily posts during that time. After that, the next nine months will really be brutal. The other good news is that it’s just one year. After this year, my life should revert to normal. If I can just keep this going for the next twelve months, I’m hoping I can pick up steam again later.
The near goal is to get my life in order and start posting again right around the end of the month. I hope to be back soon.

Aw, that’s a bummer. Oh well, I’ll leave a post week-to-week in hopes that you’ll be encouraged by your intense fandom. I check this blog every other day (if not every day). Grar.

Seriously, I enjoy this, but I don’t mind because our lives have to be more important. Thats some advice I should take sometimes…

Don’t you hate it when life gets in the way of gaming?
I’m going to miss my daily fix (this site is bookmarked in a folder of bookmarks I make a point to visit daily), but I look forward to the occasional updates and hope that these life changes are all for the better for you.
