Turns out that I wasn’t paying enough attention. The midget we met was just hanging around a healing pool in the woods; the actual village lay in the woods to the south. We shrunk ourselves down anyway to replenish our strength at the magical pool, then sized up again and headed south to look for the village.
After a bit of searching and some more random combat, we found the little folks’ village, shrunk ourselves down again, and entered. Not much to see here at first glance: a few shops and some random inhabitants. After a bit of searching around, though, we entered the house of a poisoned magician. We healed him, which made him all happy and generous and such. He promptly opened a secret passage in his house for us that he says will take us through the mountains and to the land of the Vikings. Great! Football!
We’ll head down the passage tomorrow.
