There were fun for a number of reasons. They do a great job putting the games in historical framework and comparing them to other similar games at the time. Really interesting stuff. I also liked them because they flesh out the story. There were parts of the story that I missed because of the Japanese. And I like how they talk about the evolution of the series as well. Don't watch it too much if you didn't play the whole series! If the FF5 part, they even hint at what happens to "that flower girl" from FF7...
