This is one of the four Final Fantasy games that I’d say were great.

I’ve played through it dozens of times, mostly the US Final Fantasy II version, and it’s a personal favorite, but honestly a lot of that is nostalgia. Compared to later FF games, the story and gameplay are very simplistic. Of course, for some people that’s a mark in its favor. Some of the later games are too complicated for their own good. (I’m looking at you, FFVIII…)

I always liked to play on the highest speed settings, which is very glitchy on the GBA version. Because of that, I never finished the game on that version, so I’m looking forward to reading about any of the added extras you do.

    He, he, he >:)

I personally liked FF 5 better, but 4 is still very good. Plus-side is that I played both with my friend in the Playstation version. It’s a shame that we got stuck in the final bosses of BOTH FF 4 and 5!

    Drake,
I wish I hadn’t had that long break in the middle of the game, as I think I lost a lot of the story momentum when I was away from the game so long. I finally feel like I’ve gotten it back, but it took a while.

    Seneth,
I don’t know much about the extras at all. Be interesting to see what they entail.

    Jaime,
I have to be closing in on the end. I just know I’m close. Please, tell me I’m close!

    Windark,
Oh oh! Stuck at the final boss scares me.
