Sorry about the temporary outages these past two days. I just upgraded all my web accounts to a better hosting plan, and a there have been a few glitches this week. Not sure how a file got corrupted to bring the site down today, but I’ve fixed it.

My only concern is that I don’t know the cause, which makes me wonder if it may happen again. I have a hunch that the problem today was a result of yesterday’s fixes, so I’m hopeful that we’ll be up and running more stably from now on.

Sorry for the delay again. I’ve finally cleared everything out of the way. Life got crazy for a while there.

I’m ready to resume posting, but I’m currently running an old version of WordPress, and the site badly needs to be upgraded. There won’t be much, if anything, in terms of visual change, but the engine under the hood will be better, and I’ll fix some of the current problems with the way the site is presented to Google’s search engines.

I hope to finish the upgrade on Saturday during the day, and hope (crosses fingers) to make a new post about Final Fantasy V on Sunday. Saturday, the site may go down while I do the upgrading.

Sorry for the disappearance. The one-week trip I took in early October left me far behind in life. I’ve finally just about gotten things caught up again.

I hope to begin posting again this Wednesday.

If you checked here in the past few hours, you would have seen a post that was a bit out of order…

I’ve got to take a trip later this week, so I played ahead a bit this weekend, and now I’m trying to stack up seven posts so that I’ll have a post every day I’m gone. I screwed up the timing on this (I’m not used to doing this), however, so it came up out of order. I’ll fix today’s post shortly and get the posts back in line.

I’ll be gone from Thursday through Tuesday, but hope to have a post go up for each day that I’m gone.

With today’s post, I’ve got ten consecutive days with a post in this blog. In an attempt to keep making progress, I’ve decided to set myself a little goal of making one post a day for 100 consecutive days. 90 more to go.
