Boondocks

boondocks.jpgWe shake ourselves to our senses and take stock of the situation. We appear to be on a forested pennisula in the north of Galuf’s World. We have no means of transportation, and can only go in one direction: east. We start walking. Taking a look at the world map, we can see some sort of landmark to the east a few days away. We’ll head there, learn what we can, and keep driving on.

The fights are a level above those of our original world, but are by no means beyond us. After a short while we come to the landmark, which turns out to be the small town of Lugor. Here, we find shops selling potions, spells, and gear. This is good stuff. Many of the spells are new to us. The weapons and armor are often upgrades over our current gear. The potions shop sells badly need high potions.

The townsfolk don’t give us much in the way of useful information, however. There doesn’t appear much else to do except head for the next landmark, which lies to the south.

Before we do that, however, I want to grind for a little bit to earn cash to buy high potions, spells, weapons, and armor. Time for some good old random monster bashing.
