About Me
Welcome! My name is Mike Blitz. I write, design, and create this Final Fantasy blog. This site is a hobby of mine. In real life, I work with technology and education. A significant portion of my work time is spent writing, which I love to do.
I’ve always loved games of all sorts. In particular, I love the stories that games generate. I should also add that I’m not particularly good at games.
This blog is a chronicle of my attempt to improve my Japanese by playing all the Final Fantasy games in their native Japanese. I am fairly proficient at the language, but life has been incredibly busy the past five years. I have had little time to either play games or study Japanese. With this blog I get to do a little bit of both.
Otherwise, my life is fairly normal. I’m a happily married father of two children. I live in Minnesota, in the United States. Much of my free time is filled with playing with my kids, but with what’s left, I like to read, watch movies, and exercise.
