Thanks for your patience while we redid the layout and colors. Just some minor tweaks left to attend to. Everything should run fine now.

We’ve had clear sailing to level six in Pandemomiun. Here, however, things are a bit different. We found a chest with some awesome Genji Armor in it. Before we could put it on, though, Beelzebub, a massive bug, attacked our party.
Although he put up more of a fight than the previous bosses, he still didn’t last overly long, and never threatened our party. Within a short while, he was a massive corpse and we had our uber Genji Armor safe in hand. We’re now working our way through the rest of Level 6.
I can feel the end of Final Fantasy II drawing near. Emperor, we’re coming for you!

Fire is their Achilles’ heel! Dark Riders burn like dry pine trees. With our fire abilities, we can take down three of them a round, which is enough to beat them before they kill all of us. If we get four attacking us at once, or if they ambush us and get a free round of attack at the beginning of a battle, we are in trouble, but otherwise, we’re making progress once again in Pandemonium.
At the moment, we’re on the third level and driving up.

As we rounded the first corner in Pandemonium, we were attacked by a small group of Dark Riders. Ouch. Four rounds later we were all dead. These guys play for keeps. They each hit for more than 3,000 points, which can kill our entire party in seven hits.
I reloaded, tried again, made it through a couple of battles with other enemies, then wiped again on some Dark Riders.
We could be in trouble.

At the end of the sixth or seventh level of Jade, we found a small diamond pattern on the floor.
We stepped on it, clicked our heels, and were whisked away to Pandemonium! Do not return to town, do not replenish any potions.
Fortunately, I was somewhat expecting this, and was taking extra care in Jade not to burn through my potions. Due to the large number of magic casters in there, we were able to constantly replenish our MP supplies with the “Aspiru” spell. We can heal with MP, so even though we got beaten up badly on the first couple of levels, we didn’t use many potions after that. We are in decent shape as we enter Pandemonium.
Still, I have an inkling that things in Pandemonium might be a degree or two more difficult than in Jade. Fingers are crossed that we can make it through.
